Brooxie Nell Love, nee Durden, 79, of Granite City, Ill., born March 6, 1935, in Bruceton, Tenn., died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, Ill.

Brooxie had resided in this area since the early sixties. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a former employee at St. Mary's Hospital, East St. Louis, Ill.

Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Omra, nee Allen, Durden; two brothers; Frank Durden, Roscoe Durden and a sister. Jean Durden.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Love of Glen Carbon, Ill.; two sons, Bob (Gina) Love and Jimmy (Patricia Lynn) Love, both of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Barbara (Dwayne) Bunn of Louisville, Ky., and Alice (Neal) Wyatt of Bruceton, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Davis Funeral Home, 2060 Cleveland Blvd., Granite City, Ill.

Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Bruceton Funeral Home, 30700 Broad St., Bruceton, Tenn.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Bruceton Funeral Home, Bruceton, Tenn., with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Interment will be in East View Cemetery, Holladay, Tenn.
