Services for Thomas Woodrow Baker, 73, of Bruceton, were at 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, at Bruceton First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with Rev. Bill Franklin and Rev. Harold Craig officiating.
Mr. Baker, a retired engineer for Louisville and Nashville Railroad, died Sunday afternoon, November 29, at his home in Bruceton after a long illness.

He was married to Dorothy Mae Baker of Bruceton. They had two children, Dottie Baker Bridgers of Isola, Mississippi, and Thomas W. Baker Jr. of Chattanooga. They also had seven grandchildren.

He was a member of the Bruceton Masonic Lodge 1731, Scottish Rite, Shriner, former chairman of the Carroll County Electric Commission, member of the Carroll County Democratic Executive Committee, former chairman of the Hollow Rock/Bruceton Special School District Board, on the administration board of Bruceton 1st United Methodist Church, and a World War II Veteran.
