T.D. Kee, 79, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, January 2. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, at Poteet Funeral Home with the Rev. David Lewallen officiating. Burial followed at the McCormick City Cemetery in McCormick, South Carolina. Pallbearers who served were Roy Witherington, Sr., Roy Witherington, Jr., Michael Witherington, Robert Witherington, Charles Joshson, Jr., and William R. McCracken. Honorary pallbearers who served were members of the Civitan Club of Augusta.
Mr. Kee was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kee of Buena Vista. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, who retired as vice-president from Citizens & Southern Bank, and was owner of Kee Land and Home Sales. He was a member o the Civitan Club of Augusta, Hephzibah Agricultural Club, Masters City Square Dancers and Georgia State Square Dancers Association. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
He is survived by two sons, Charles F. Kee of Augusta, Georgia, and James S. Kee of Auburn, Alabama; and a grandchild.
