Mr. Warren Brinkley, 81, died on Friday, May 16 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Monday, May 19 at Carroll Memorial Gardens, with Brother David Clubb officiating.
Mr. Brinkley was born April 28, 1922 in Buena Vista to the late Scott and Hassie Parish Brinkley. He was a retired employee of the Railway Postal Clerk, a member of the Prospect Baptist Church and a World War II army veteran.
Two brothers, Gilbert Brinkley and Robert Brinkley and two sisters, Ruth Yates and Mae Dill, preceded him in death.Survivors include a sister, Vonell Cequin of Huntingdon, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

DUBLIN, GEORGIA: Dorthy Eason Hall, 85, formerly of Bruceton, died Sunday, April 5, at Twelve Oaks Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. Graveside services are Thursday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Prospect Cemetery with Rev. Steve Whitworth officiating.
Mrs. Hall was born April 26, 1923 in Ohio to the late James O. Eason and Mary Sills Eason. She was a member of Pine Forrest United Methodist Church and a retired sales lady for Friedman Jewelers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. Hall; and three brothers, James Paul Eason, Bobby Eason and Baxter Eason.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kay Lovett of Destin, Florida; two sisters, Jeannine Maners of Clarksville and Barbara Wiles of LaVale, Maryland; one brother, Martin Eason of Bruceton; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bruceton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edna Mae Radford Evans Ferguson 86, of Bruceton, died Saturday, April 4, at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. James Daniels officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Pallbearers who served were Tony Ineo, Dale Newsome, Jan Aylor, Larry Spencer, Jim New, and Joel Edwards.
Mrs. Ferguson, daughter of the late Everett Jefferson Radford and Dallie Lee Foster Radford, was born on July 10, 1922, in Hollow Rock. She was a housewife and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her daughter, William M. Evans on June 6, 1986; her second husband, Ira “Mose” Ferguson on September 13, 1998; and a brother, Eugene Radford. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Sherrill of Huntingdon; and a sister, Sue (Bob) Hurt of Panama, Central America.

BRUCETON: Graveside services for John Stanley ?J.S.? Hall, 82, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with the Rev. Steve Whitworth officiating. Military honors were conducted at the gravesite.
Mr. Hall, a retired insurance agent for Lovett?s Insurance Agency, died on Tuesday, February 22, in Dublin, Georgia.
He was born in Madison County to the late Frank J. Hall and Lucille Rushing Hall. He was a member of the Pine Forest United Methodist Church where he taught a men's Bible class. He was active in the Senior Foresters. Mr. Hall was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731 for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Eason Hall; a daughter, Kay Haire of Destin, Florida; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Frank Hall.

Sam Higgason, Jr., died Tuesday, April 7 in Houston, Texas after a heart attack. He was 41.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist Church in Bruceton with Rev. J. A. ATchley officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery with the Bruceton Funeal Home in charge.
Mr. Higgason was a graduate of Central High School and a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Higgason of Houston, Texas, one daughter, Miss Terry Higgason and 1 son, David, both of Huntingdon, California, his mother, Mrs. Evie Higgason of Bruceton, two brothers, James Harold Higgason of Whiting, Ind., and Max Higgason of Griffith, Ind., one sister, Mrs Bob Barker of Bruceton.

Services for Herman Carl Johnston, Jr., 72 of Bruceton were at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 1996, at Bruceton Funeral Home. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mr. Johnston, was born on August 11, 1923, in Nashville, to the Late Herman C. Johnston, Sr. and Mrs. Estella Gentry Johnston. He Was a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church, Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731, Member of Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #314, Memphis Scottish Rite, and he served in Army Air Force in Europe during World War II.
He is survived by one son, Gary Johnston of Bruceton. Pallbearers who served were Dr. Mark Williams, Randall Williams, Robert L. Williams, Melvin May, Thomas Williams, and Jack Lusk. Bruceton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Grady Miller officiating. Burial followed, in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow- Rock. Pallbearers who served were Ross Lee Cole, Ted Gentle, Stan Elkins, Jeff Elkins, Charles Sisson and Terry Larkins.
Mrs. Elkins, daughter of the late Wall Grady Miller and , Willie Truman Lancaster Miller, wass born on January 9, 1923, in Bruceton. She was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Dept. and a member of the Bruceton Church of Christ since 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E Elkins; a son, David Elkins; a sister, Jane Miller; and a brother, Max Miller.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Stolting of Old Hickory; a son, Dale (Cathy) Elkins of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Jeff Elkins, Stan', (Vicky) Elkins, - and Megan Elkins; and a great-grandson,' Luke Elkins.

Mr. Bobby Snider, Rev. James Daniel and Rev. Dennis Trull will officiate. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Pallbearers who served were Jimmy Carey, Joel Washburn, Warren Tinker, Bob Rutledge, Pete Bryant and Ricky Reed. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Smith, Joe Ed Taylor, Brett Mebane, Jeff Mebane, Dr. Jerry F. Atkins, Wayne Qualls, John Snider and Randall Wilson.
Mrs. Hurley, the daughter of the late Ohlen Lloyd Reed and Arta Blackburn Reed, was born November 17, 1923, in Huntingdon. She was a retired shipping clerk for H.I.S. Co., Inc. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Hurley, Jr.; a son, William S. Hurley, III; a sister; Lenora Wiles; and a brother, Thomas Ohlen Reed. She is survived by a son, Brad Hurley of McKenzie.

Mr. Williams, an agricultural consultant, died Monday night, Sept. 24, in Coldwater, Misa., at the home of his daughter, Ruth Ann Rondeau. .Besides. his daughter, he is survived by a half-sister, Maxine-Bond of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Williams of Milan and Jim Williams of Dyersburg; 3 granddaughters and 3 great-grandchildren.

Martha Ann Martin, 90, of Stow, Ohio, passed on to be with God on August 7.
Born Martha Ann Wilson in Tennessee in 1923, Martha started her career in Washington, D.C. There she met James E. Martin, whom she married in 1949. They raised four children in Northern Virginia, where Martha was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, an avid camper and active in Girl Scouts.
In 1975, the Martins retired to Florida and enjoyed fishing, gardening, entertaining, volunteering and traveling. After her husband's death in 1992, Martha moved to North Carolina, where she volunteered and enjoyed an active social life with her close companion, Michael Rapport. In 2008, she relocated to Stow and became a member of the Church in the Falls in Cuyahoga Falls.
She is survived by a sister, Marilyn Beaird of West Monroe, La.; four children, Susan Lesnik of Lexington, S.C., David Martin of Nokesville, Va., Barbara Hobbs of Stow, Ohio and Alice Atalla of Kirkland, Wash.; son-in-law, Nick Atalla; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her close friend, Fred Zockoll.
Family and friends will celebrate Martha's life at a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, at the Church in the Falls, 837 Chestnut Boulevard, Cuyahoga Falls. The family will greet guests one hour before the service.

A retired foster parent with Civil Service, Mr. Wyatt died at Carroll County General Hospital, January 11, 1977. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and a W.W. II Disabled Air Force Vetran. His parents were R. B. Wyatt and Mary Alice Melton Wyatt. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Wyatt of Buena Vista, Rt. 1; a son, George Wyatt of Bennington, Vermont; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Germana of Hinkley, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Odell Wyatt of Huntingdon and Fred Wyatt of Buena Vista.
