Frances Olive Blackwell Spence

Frances Olive Blackwell Spence, 82, of Manchester and formerly of Camden died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Harton Regional in Tullahoma.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden with Brother Leonard Greer officiating. Burial will be in Camden City Cemetery.

A native of Carroll County, Tenn., Mrs. Spence was a retired secretary for the state of Tennessee and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents Patrick Daniel and Clara Williams Blackwell and her husband, Delbert Thomas Spence, who died in 1974.

Survivors include daughter Nola Dean Spence of Murfreesboro; sons James (Sue) Spence and William (Johnnie) Spence, both of Manchester, Barry Spence of Smyrna and Phillip (Georgia) Spence of Pegram; brother Bobby (Jeanine) Blackwell of Warren, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 7 p.m. at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden. 731-584-8282
