HOLLOW ROCK: Services for Loretta Wade, 78, were on Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bradshaw and Rev. James Daniel officiating. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Mrs. Wade, a housewife, died on Thursday, May 22 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of the Hollow Rock United Methodist Church.
She was born on October 1, 1924 in Hollow Rock to the late Grover Cleveland Hudson and Era Beatrice Hatley Hudson. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffery McGee.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Ray Wade; one daughter, Barbara Roberts of Bruceton; two sons, Jack McGee of Bruceton and Gary Ronald McGee of Hollow Rock; two stepdaughters, Anna Orvis of Swartz Creek, Michigan and Patricia Wade of Flint, Michigan; one stepson, Larry Wade of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister, Mable Moore of Bruceton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildre
