Services for Rhea Ernest Evans, 56, a Memphis resident formerly from Bruceton, were at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 27 at First Baptist Church in Bruceton. The Rev. Dennis Pulley officiated. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery with Bruceton Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Evans died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He was a truck driver.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Faye Evans of Memphis; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Aylor of Brnceton; a son, Joe Evans of Decatur, Ala.; a brother, Bill Evans of Bruceton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Wanda McCullar of Memphis; two stepsons, David Moore of Memphis and Terry Moore of Houston; and five step-grandchildren.
