Johnny Watson Haynes
September 4, 1934 - March 12, 2015

Mr. Johnny Watson Haynes, 80, of Hollow Rock, passed away Thursday, March 12, at his home. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home. Military honors were held at the gravesite in Hampton Cemetery in Huntingdon. Bro. Loyce Fuller officiated the service. Pallbearers who served were Tommy Chambers, John Cooper, Roy Tomlanson, Bishop Haynes, Scott Haynes, and Richard Gilbert. Honorary pallbearer was Harold Hudson.

Mr. Haynes was born on Sept. 4, 1934, in Benton County to the late William Rutherford Haynes and Evelyn Watson Haynes. He was a retired Master Sgt. from the U.S. Air Force. He was a Baptist in faith and a 20 year U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Ray Haynes. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Lou Chambers Haynes of Hollow Rock; two daughters, Julia Nan Haynes of Bruceton and Katherine Tomlanson of Holladay; two sons, William Robert Haynes of Murfreesboro and Edward Watson Haynes of Saucier, Miss.; one sister, Nancy (Hal) Robinson of Maryville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
