NASHVILLE: Services for Virginia Elizabeth Simmons, 73, formerly of Buena Vista, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27 at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Simmons officiating. Burial was in McAuley Cemetery near Buena Vista.
Miss Simmons, a retired secretary at St. Thomas Hospital, died Tuesday, October 26 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born August 18, 1931 in Benton County to the late Albert Cidney Simmons and Naomi Bailey Simmons. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and the Business and Professional Women’s Association.
Survivors include two sisters, Faye Lomax of Huntingdon and Patsy Dean of Clarksville and a brother, Bailey Simmons of Hollow Rock.
