Services for James Terrell Caplinger, 46, of Bruceton were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. James R. Haley officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery near Camden. Mr. Caplinger, a maintenance supervisor for Procter and Gamble Manufacturing Co., died Friday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness.
A member of Liberty United Methodist Church, Mr. Caplinger also served as president of the West Tennessee Gas Engine Association and a director for the Tennessee-Kentucky Threshermen’s Association.
Surviving is a: son, Michael Caplinger of Lancaster, his mother, Mrs. Estelle Caplinger of Bruceton, and a brother, Winford R. Caplinger of Nashville.
