Martin Sills Eason, 81, of Bruceton passed away Tuesday, October 30 at his home. Funeral services were held November 2 at Bruceton Funeral Home. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers were Colby Davis, Hunter Ashvurn, Grant Davis, Matt Curtis, Nick Eason, Jeff Baker, and Jorge Perez.
Mr. Eason was born October 10, 1936 in Vale to the late James Oswald Eason and Kathleen Sills Eason. He worked in management for Dupont. Mr. Eason was a member of Bruceton First United Methodist Church, Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731, Scottish Rites, Al Chymia Shrine, and Carroll County Shrine Mounted Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jo Ann Vestal Eason; two sisters, Dorothy Hall and Jeannine Maners; and three brothers, James Paul Eason, Bobby Eason, and Baxter Eason.
He is survived by two daughters, LeAnn Eason of Medina and Amy Davis of Huntingdon; a son, Keith (Jackie) Eason of Bruceton; a sister, Barbara (Bucky) Wiles of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Nichole Baker, Marisa Perez, Martin Nicholas Eason, Matt Curtis, Hunter Ashburn, Colby Davis, and Grant Davis; and six great-grandchildren, Caley Harris, Celeste Perez, Cruz Perez, Cole Baker, Scarlett Curtis, and Staley Eason.
