Kneeland Eugene Prince, 78, of Ashland City, formerly of Bruceton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Masonic Rites were held Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m. Funeral services
were held Thursday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of the Bruceton Funeral Home with David Bayer officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with military honors.

Mr. Prince was born Nov. 18, 1936, in Hollow Rock, to the late Joe N. Prince and Helen L. Scates Prince. He was a retired glass polisher for the Ford Glass Plant, a member of the Dickson Masonic Lodge, the Nashville Scottish Rites, the Al Menah Shrine, was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara M. Hughes Prince, and a son, Joe. K. Prince. He is survived by a sister, Martha J. (William) Freeland, of Bruceton; a granddaughter, Brandy Prince, two greatgrandchildren, Cameran Whittsey and Kayla Brewton, two nieces, Jennifer (Ivan) Hewtof, and Betsy (Dale) Evans, a great-niece, Stephanie Hamblin, and a great-greatniece, Emily Hamlin.

Pallbearers who served were Jerry Boyd, Jarred Bryant, Larry Joyner, Gary and Steve Vaughn, and Bill Dodd. Honorary pallbearer was Joe M. Walker. [Source: Carroll County News-Leader]
