BRUCETON,TN: Jo Ann Eason, 74, of Bruceton, diedTuesday, October 30, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Steve Whitworth officiating at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mrs. Eason was born on November 29, 1937 in Chester County,TN to the late Joe Homer Vestal and Pauline Tignor Vestal. She was a member of Bruceton First United Methodist Church, a 50-year member and past matron of the Bruceton Order of the Eastern Star ADAH Chapter 314, a past grand officer of Grand Chapter of TN, Gavel Club, Pitch Club and Women’s Club and was a retired teller for First Bank in Bruceton.
She is survived by: husband Martin S. Eason, of Bruceton; two daughters, Leann Ashburn, of Medina,TN, and Amy (Chris)Davis, of Hollow Rock; one son, Martin Keith (Jackie) Eason, of Bruceton; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. [Source: McKenzie Banner]
