Services for Joe Raymond Weatherly Sr., 45 of Bruceton were at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Pulley officiating. Burial was in, Prospect, Cemetery, in Hollow Rock with Bruceton Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Weatherly died Friday January 21 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. He was an operator for. The Dupont Company in New Johnsonville. He was a Carroll County native and a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Weatherly; two daughters, Miss Kim Weatherly of Bruceton and Mrs. Bridget Jump of Dyersburg; a son Joe R. Weatherly Jr., of Bruceton and a sister; Mrs. Inez Barnhart of. Bruceton. Date of death, January 21, 1983
