Mr. Malcolm L. Woods 77, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 03, 2013 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 7, 2013 at 5:00 PM at Prospect Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Sonny Daniel and Bro. Bob Conley will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
Mr. Woods was born August 10, 1935 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Robert and Maggie (Douglas) Woods. He was retired from the Milan Arsenal, a member of the Prospect Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Gene Woods and two brothers, Frank Woods and Newburn Woods.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Woods, three sons, Tony Woods (wife Suzanne) of Jackson, Rob Woods (wife Connie) of Hollow Rock and Trent Woods (wife Dawn) of Jackson and one sister, Madeline Mitchell of Camden. He also leaves four grand children Brandon Turner, Dakota Bone, Ryan Woods, Kayla Woods, and one great grandson, Remington Turner
