Wanza Jean Bond, 86 of Bruceton, TN passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Jackson General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 12 P.M. with Bro. Mickey Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 pm.
Mrs. Bond was born on May 16, 1938, in Hollow Rock, TN to the late William Hobart King and Ollie Osia Foust King. She was also preceded by her husband, Charles Oxford Bond; brothers, Robert Murrell King, William D. “Cotton” King, Lee King, Edwin King, Junior “Jr” King; sisters, Marjorie Sue Wiser and Dorothy Haskins. Mrs. Bond was a retired Secretary from L.A Unified School District. She was also a member of the Hebron Methodist Church and a Order of Eastern Star Chapter 314 member.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Sharon) Bond of Oak Hills, CA, Jeffrey Shane Bond of Bruceton, TN; grandchildren, Christina Bond, Christopher Bond, Kaitlyn Bond, Brandon Bond and a great grandchild, Madilynn Bond. [Source: Bruceton Funeral Home]
