Services for Michael Gary Walters, 37 of Hollow Rock, were at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Franklin, Rev. Dick Haley, Rev. Bill Hart and Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Walters, a former employee of CXS Railroad, died Wednesday morning, March 3 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was married to Patsy Walters. They Had two children, Jonathan Walters and Shannon Walters, both of Hollow Rock. His Parents are Wesley and Virginia Walters of Bruceton. He had three brothers, Roger Walters, Tim Walters and Tony Walters, all of Bruceton; two sisters, Rhonda Hodge and Penny McGee, both of Hollow Rock. Military Honors were performed at the graveside.
