On Sunday, February 21, 2021, God came and gave restful peace to our beloved Frankie Howard. Frankie was born September 8, 1959 to the late F.T. and Virgie Mae King Chapple. He was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Hollow Rock, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, F.T. and Virgie Mae King Chapple, grandparents, Flossie (Ernie) Chappel, Charlie King, and Christiner King, aunts, uncles, a sister, Ella Chapple, and his cousin Stanley Jamison.
He leaves his cherished memories to his son, Joshua Chapple (Samantha Marrs) from Huntingdon, TN; one sister, Maggie (David) Jones from McKenzie, TN; one niece, LaTasha Mumford, one nephew, Tariq Jones, great nieces and nephew Harmony Hart, Unique Mumford, Mar’Quay Hart all from McKenzie, TN. He also leaves a host of aunts, Cora Lee Williams from Cedar Grove, TN, Bonnie Staten, Jessie Mae Jamison, Eva Mae Carter, Marilyn (Danny) Johnson all from Huntingdon, TN, Rosalyn (James) Milam from McKenzie, TN, Wanda McKinnie from Jackson, TN, uncles, Bobby Chapple, Charlie Lee King, Mack (Jearneitha) King all from Huntingdon, TN, Leon King from Bay City, MI, Mike (Pandora) King from Lexington, TN, beloved friend Jerome Greer from Huntingdon, TN, several cousins and special friends. Dillon King and Alison Tegethoff will always have a special place in his heart. He loved them dearly and he always will.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 Jennifer Ann Grooms, loving wife and proud mother of two children, passed at the age of 59. Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Bruceton with Pastor Josh Franks officiating the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Grooms was born April 5, 1960 in North Africa to Cordell Harris and Bettie (Williams) Harris. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bruceton and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, loved working out in the yard, walking around in the community and coloring.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Quentin Allgood.
She is survived by her husband, Dickey D. Grooms, , whom she married August 26, 1978, her mother, Bettie (Williams) Harris of Bruceton, her father, Cordell H. Harris Jr of Apache Junction, Arizona, one daughter, Candis Grooms Story (husband Keith) of Springfield, Tennessee, one son, Micah Grooms (wife Casey Williams Grooms) of Memphis, one sister, Celia Allgood, and one brother, Jeff Harris (wife Cheryl Burnett Harris) both of Bruceton. She also leaves two wonderful grandchildren, Zaland Patton, Henry Crawford Grooms (whom was born one day before her passing) and her four legged grand dog, Bailey. [Source: Chase Funeral Home]

Becky Cora Todd, 50, of Clarksburg, died Saturday, May 23, at her home. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 25, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Randall Woods and Bro. Clint Ezell officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Frank Baggett, Anthony Smith, Juan Aldayturriaga, Monte Smith, Cory Todd, and Ronald Tucker. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Cerrito and Michael Avery. Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Todd, daughter of the late Elree and Opal (Ivey) Horton, was born on May 16, 1959, in Davidson County. She was a welder for Dana Corporation and a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elree Horton, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Todd; a daughter, Heather (Ben) Wortham of Clarksburg; two sons, Josh Todd and Jacob Todd, both of Clarksburg; four sisters, Betty (Frank) Baggett of Waverly, Ivey (Bucky) Elrod of Buena Vista, Nancy Dorobiala of Huntingdon, and Kathy Horton of Collierville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Horton of Memphis; and a granddaughter, Lilly Wortham. Terry Lee Johnson, 50, of Sawyers Mill, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Nashville. Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden with Bill Douglas officiating. Burial followed at Sandy Point Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 14, 1960 in Camden to Leta Hicks Johnson, of Sawyers Mill, and the late Billie Johnson. He was a riverboat captain for American. Commercial Lines for 25 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sisters, Susann Johnson, of Nashville, Janice Taylor, of Eva, and Charlotte Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; a brother, Mark Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; two nephews, John David Taylor and Billy Taylor, both of Camden; a niece, Carlin Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; and two great-nephews, Xander and Orion Taylor, both of Camden. Donna Kaye Gilbert, 51. of Bruceton, died Friday, March 4, Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with Pastor Wallace Cunningham officiating. burial followed at Old Pisgah cemetery. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Gilbert was born on January 7, 1960, in Carroll County. She was a former dietary aide at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father. James M. Walker.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Gilbert; two sons, Billy King of Huntingdon and Justin Gilbert f Bruceton; her mother. 0llie Webb Walker of Bruceton; three sisters, Deborah (Dan) Adams, Amy Williams and Rita Walker, all of Bruceton; five brothers, Larry Webb, Dennis King, Tommy King, Bruce King, and Darrell Walker, all of Bruceton; and two grandchildren.

HOLLOW ROCK: Julie Ann McMillin Moore, 50, died Monday, June 21, 2010. Funeral services are Thursday, June 24, at 3 p.m. at Prospect Baptist Church in Hollow Rock with Bro. David Bayer and Bro. Bob Conley officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery near Hollow Rock.
Mrs. Moore was born March 1, 1960 in Bruceton. She was manager of Jackson Convenience Store and member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, J.W. McMillin, and one brother, Kenny McMillin.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael G. Moore of Hollow Rock; her mother, Ruby Lee McMillin of Hollow Rock; one daughter, Jill (Justin) Stafford of McKenzie; one son, Jay Taylor of McKenzie; one sister, Jennie Nunamaker of Bruceton; one brother, Jimmy Rex McMillin of Hollow Rock; and one granddaughter.

Mr. Darren Eugene Wilks, 62 , was born on June 12, 1960 in Camden ,TN to Etta Lou Ellis Wilks and the late Virgil Eugene Wilks. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Mr. Wilks was the owner/operator of Wilks Used Cars in Hollow Rock, a Baptist in faith and a member of the Bruceton Lions Club .
He was preceded in death by his father Virgil Eugene Wilks and a sister Sandra Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Susan Rene' Sterling Wilks of Hollow Rock. His mother Etta Lou Ellis Wilks of Bruceton. One daughter Heaven (Brent) Dawkins of Middleton. 2 sons: Nic (Bailey) Wilks of McKenzie and Jonathon (Katie) Thomas of Bossie City, LA. 2 brothers: Monte (Debbie) Wilks of Lexington and J. Randy (Ann) Williams of Greensboro, N.C. 7 grandchildren: Brynely, Brittan and Beckett Dawkins, Grant and Connor Thomas , Finley Swor and Jett Wilks.
