Arthur Joe Willis, 36, of Huntingdon, died Friday, January 26, of injuries he received from a fire. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, at the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Cavene Jameson officiated. Burial followed in the Humbles Cemetery. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Willis was born June 28, 1964, in Huntingdon. He was a member of the Sparks Street Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Willis, and a sister, Lorrie N. Willis.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Jameson Willis; a daughter, Reshada L. Willis; a son, Almonza D. Willis; four sisters, Della J. Smith, Doris I. Tharpe, Ella D. Milam, and Georgia M. Willis; seven brothers, Homer L. Willis, Willie L. Willis, Ernest L. Willis, James A. Willis, Gerald Roman Willis, K. Elton Willis, and Phillip D. Willis
