Patrick Demond Hicks was born on June 24, 1972 to Lester and Deborah Hicks in Hollow Rock, Tennessee. With his best friend and wife, Rosalyn, by his side, Patrick departed this earthly life on September 5, 2020, to be with his heavenly Father.
Patrick accepted Christ at the age often years old and was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Hollow Rock, Tennessee where his grandfather, the late Reverend Lonnie Grimes, Sr. was the pastor. He later joined First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee under the leadership of Pastor James McCarroll until his transition from this earthly life.

Patrick attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1990-1994 where he studied Criminal Justice. He was a member of the MTSU Blue Raider Football team where he was an All-American starting offensive lineman. Patrick, lovingly known as "Pat", was a passionate and devoted husband, father and friend. His main objective in life was to provide for his family and to love others.
