Joel Lynn Allen, 24 of Clarksburg, formerly of Bruceton, died Monday, December 28, 1998. Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, at Marlboro Church of Christ. Brother Joe Abbott officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers who served were Matthew Hunt, Jason Carter, Kenneth Fowler, Chris Allen, Michael Birdwell and Tim Runions.
Mr. Allen was born August 29, 1974 in Jackson. He was the son fo Ralph and Jane Allen of Hollow Rock. He was an assembly line employee of Maytag in Jackson.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brandi Allen; a brother, Daneil Allen of Hollow Rock; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Swift of Bruceton; and his paternal grandparents, R. L. & Huberta Allen of Savannah.

Tammie Marie Goodwin, 19, of Bruceton died October 26, at her home.
She was a basic Airman with Tennessee Air National Guard and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Funeral services were October 30, at Prospect Baptist Church i Hollow Rock. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery with Brother Paul Merwin officiating.
She is survived by her parents, Richard and Janet Goodwin; two sisters, Windie Goodwin and Pennie Goodwin; maternal grandparents, James and Frances Kendall all of Bruceton; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Jean Goodwin of Collierville.
Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Christina Lola Patterson, 28, of Hollow Rock, died Friday, October 24. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in McAuley Cernetery near Buena Vista. Reverend William A. Fowler officiated. Pallbearers who served were Ed Ozier, Jr., Kim Coleman, Steven Fowler, Keith Fowler, David Kee and Kenny Dale Fowler.
Ms. Patterson, daughter of 1 Sherry Ozier and the late Charles Wade Patterson, was born October 2, 1975 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Estelle Ozier.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four sons, Blake Santiago, Drew Jordan, Astin Patterson and Tristan Patterson, and one brother, Tony Patterson of Hollow Rock; her grandfather and step-grandmother, Levi (Squake) Ozier and Janis Ozier of Buena Vista.
