Crystal Lynn Benefield, 26, of Camden, died Thursday, January 1,at Camden General Hospital. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday January 3, in the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Vine officiating. Interment followed at New Prospect Cemetery.

Mrs. Benefield was born June 26, 1982, in Paris to Terry Haskins and Barbara Kelly Haskins, who survive. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Mike Benefield; a son, Michael Paul Benefield, Jr. of Camden; a daughter, Mia Lynn Benefield of Camden; three sisters, Tanya Stockdale of McKenzie, Sabrina (Phillip) Drum of Jackson, and Teri Haskins.

A Single car accident claims the life of a young mother
A former Hollow Rock resident was killed in a single car accident in Benton County shortly after the arrival of the New Year. accident claimed the life of a young mother of two. At approximately 1 a.m.,

Crystal Haskins Benefield, 26, the mother of two young children, was killed instantly when the Kia Optima she was driving wrecked. Reports say that Benefield was traveling west on Eva Road when she failed to negotiate a curve. The car left the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, trapping Benefield inside the wreckage. Members of the Benton County Rescue Squad responded to the scene to free her from the vehicle. Benefield was married to Mike Benefield of Camden. [Source: Carroll County NEWS-LEADER]
