Durella McMackin

Mrs. Durella Atmore McMackin, 84, of Bruceton, died Sunday, January 5, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon of heart disease. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 27, at Marlboro Baptist Church. Brother Jack Hopper officiated. Interment followed in New Prospect Cemetery near Hollow Rock.

Mrs. McMackin, a retired seamstress for H.I.S., was born in Hardin County to the late John Franklin and Cora Atmore Brint Bell. She was preceded in death by a son, James Warren McMackin.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Cole of Camden and Helen Stepp, of Bruceton; two sons, Rex McMackin and Kenneth McMackin, both of Bruceton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandson.

Pallbearers who served were Mark French, Cory French, Bruce Stepp, Michael Stepp, Phillip McMackin, and Preston Givens. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements, (901) 586-2512.
