Tyler Cox Mitchell, a retired conductor with CSX Railroad, died Thursday, June 17 at Margie Ann Nursing Home in Lebanon.
He was born September 28, 1919 in Vale to the late Joseph Alexander and Myrtle Ila Henderson Mitchell. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past Master of Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731, Bruceton Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #314, and a member of the United Trainmen Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Gina Blythe of Mt. Juliet; a son Terry Mitchell of Camden; a sister, Willodean Childress of Huntingdon, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Buried Prospect Cemetery.
Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
