BRUCETON: Services for Gay Nelle Holladay, 82, were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18 at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. The eulogy was by Charles W. Moore. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Holladay, a retired surgical nurse, died Friday, August 16. She was born November 22, 1919 in Hollow Rock to the late Robert E. and Zora Hester Cobb Webb. Her husband, George W. Holladay and a son, Johnny Holladay preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Jim Holladay of Nashville; two sisters, Betty Martcore of Chattanooga and Mildred LeRoy of Jasper; a brother, Charles Webb of Crawford, Florida; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
