Nancy Elizabeth Thompson Miller
April 30, 1920 - April 3, 2008

Nancy Elizabeth Miller, 87, of Bruceton, died Thursday, April 3. Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Daniels and Rev. Noel Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller, daughter of the late Jerome Nathaniel Thompson and Fannie Parker Thompson, was born on April 30, 1920, in Craggie Hope. She was a devoted homemaker most of her life, worked several years for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Cafeteria, and was a 50 year member of Bruceton Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #314. She was also a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bryan Miller, Sr. She is survived by a son, Thomas (Karen) Bryan Miller, Jr. of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Thomas Bryan Miller, III, and Elizabeth Heathers Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Julia Marie and Peyton Grace Miller. BRUCETON: Nancy Elizabeth Miller, 87, died Thursday, April 3. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 8, at 1 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. James Daniel and Rev. Noel Edwards officiating. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller, a housewife, was born April 30, 1920 in Craggie Hope, Tennessee to the late Jerome Nathaniel Thompson and Fannie Parker Thompson. She was a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She worked several years for Hollow Rock-Bruceton cafeteria and was a 50-year member of Bruceton Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #314.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bryan Miller, Sr. Survivors include: one son, Thomas (Karen) Bryan Miller, Jr. of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. [McKenzie Banner]
