Lionel Hudson, 81 of Hollow Rock, died Tuesday, January, 30, at DeSota Baptist Hospital in Southhaven, Mississippi.Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday; February 1; at the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Davis officiated: Burial followed in the New Prospect Cemetery near Hollow Rock. Pallbearers,whd served Were: his grandsons Jonas Hudson, Noah Hudson, Frank McSpadin, Jay Russ, Adam Russ, ,Matt Russ, Jeff Kelly, and Brian Kelly
Mr. Hudson, the 'son of the late Grover Cleveland Hudson and Era Hartly Hudson, was born January 1, 1920, in the Hico Cortununity.
He was. a. tool '& die maker for Alignment Engineering, a member of Madison Heights; Michigan, United Metlhodist Church, a foriner mayor and councilman of Madison Heights, Michigan, a forrner mayor of Hollow Rock. and a. member of Royal Oak, Michigan, Masonic Lodge.
He is:survid‘ by his wife, Mary Meadows, three daughters; Brenda Kelly and Darla McSpairi; both of Rochester Hill, Michigan, Wand Shelia Russ of Shelby Township, Michigan, a son, Jerry Hudson of Lapeer, Michigan; two sisters, Loretta Wade and Magel Moore, both of Hollow Rock; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
