Mrs. Marjorie S. Donatto, 86, passed away October 7. Graveside services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 10, at Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio, TX.
Mrs. Donatto was born October 20, 1922. She was an avid quilter and made beautiful quilts for her entire family. She was honored in 1997 by South Texas Organ and Tissue Services for a donor quilt she made called “Angels Among Us.” She was preceded in death by her husband, Atean Donatto; a brother, Bobby Spoon; and a grandchild.
She is survived by her loving children, Jennie Hitchcock, Burke Bowman, and Dale F. Bowman; siblings, Lounell Smith, Warren and James Spoon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.
