Mr. Warren Brinkley, 81, died on Friday, May 16 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Monday, May 19 at Carroll Memorial Gardens, with Brother David Clubb officiating.
Mr. Brinkley was born April 28, 1922 in Buena Vista to the late Scott and Hassie Parish Brinkley. He was a retired employee of the Railway Postal Clerk, a member of the Prospect Baptist Church and a World War II army veteran.
Two brothers, Gilbert Brinkley and Robert Brinkley and two sisters, Ruth Yates and Mae Dill, preceded him in death.Survivors include a sister, Vonell Cequin of Huntingdon, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
