Lou Nell Elkins, 84, of; Bruceton, died Monday, April 16, at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Grady Miller officiating. Burial followed, in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow- Rock. Pallbearers who served were Ross Lee Cole, Ted Gentle, Stan Elkins, Jeff Elkins, Charles Sisson and Terry Larkins.
Mrs. Elkins, daughter of the late Wall Grady Miller and , Willie Truman Lancaster Miller, wass born on January 9, 1923, in Bruceton. She was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Dept. and a member of the Bruceton Church of Christ since 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E Elkins; a son, David Elkins; a sister, Jane Miller; and a brother, Max Miller.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Stolting of Old Hickory; a son, Dale (Cathy) Elkins of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Jeff Elkins, Stan', (Vicky) Elkins, - and Megan Elkins; and a great-grandson,' Luke Elkins.
