BENNIE IRENE PICKLER HENDRIX - 1924-2009

Mrs. Bennie Irene Pickler Hendrix, 85, passed away Friday, November 27, at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29, in the chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Noel Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Carroll County Memorial Garden near McKenzie. Pallbearers who served were Andy Cavender, James S. Daniel, Steve Parker, John Parker, William Freeland, and Bill Kortvely.
Mrs. Hendrix was born on February 3, 1924, in Buena Vista, to the late Benjamin Harrison Pickler and Eva Myrtle Williams Pickler. She was a former payroll clerk for Henry I. Siegel. She was a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Martin Hendrix; a sister, Lucy Lee Park; and four brothers, Clyde Pickler, Jessie Pickler, B.H. Pickler, and Paul Pickler. She is survived by a son, Gary (Kathy) Hendrix of Omaha, NE; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Pickler and Zachary Pickler
