J. D. Horn
J. D. Horn, 60, of Jackson died Saturday afternoon at Regional Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Bruceton.
Mr. Horn was retired from the E.L. Morgan Co. He was a World War II veteran and a member of North Jackson Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Horn; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Rush of Jackson and Mrs. Joan Simmons of Huntingdon; a step-daughter, Mrs. Katie Goode of Trezevant, a sister, Mrs. Lillie Ridings; Three grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
