Services for Sephus Adrain Moore, 70 of Buena Vista were November 15 at Center Point Church. Interment followed in Prospect Cemetery with Mitchell Rayburn and Morgan Arnold officiating.
Mr. Moore the son of the late Sephus E. Moore and Mary Hazel Park Moore, was born January 12, 1924 in Buena Vista. He died November 13 at his home. Mr. Moore was a retired assistant unit operator for TVA, a charter member and deacon at Center Point Baptist Church, a member of the VFW, and a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Williams Moore. He is survived by one daughter, Frances Hicks and one son, Charles Moore both of Buena Vista. He also leaves six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
