Mr. David Lee Smith, 63 of Vero Beach, Florida, died July 7, 1989, after an apparent heart attack at his home. Born October 24, 1925 to Mr. Lloyd Elvin Smith and the former Ms. Mary Opal Compton in Hollow Rock, he was a retired school teacher and a World War II veteran.
Services were conducted Friday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert White Officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mr. Smith is survived by his Mother, Mrs. Mary C. Smith; and several cousins. Pallbearers were W. D. King, M. E. Flowers, Gerald Patterson, William Compton, Bruce Robinson and L. C. James
