June 19,1928 - May 9, 1993 Mrs. Betty Jo Hurt, 64, died Sunday, May 9, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 10, at the First Baptist Church in Bruceton with Bro. Conyer Walker officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurt, the daughter of Stanley and Hazel Gooch, was born in Bruceton on June 19, 1928. She was a retired employee of the Henry I. Siegel Co. and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bruceton.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Hurt of Bruceton; a daughter, Linda Smothers of Huntingdon; two sons, Richard Hurt of Bruceton and Ted Hurt of Martin; and five grandchildren.
