Mrs. Nellie Jo Arnold Butler, 85, was born January 19, 1929, in Parsons, TN to the late Mr. Newell Bowden Arnold and Mrs. Annie Gray Jordan Arnold. Mrs. Butler departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Services were held at Bruceton Funeral Home on October 11 and interment followed at Spellings Cemetery near Buena Vista.
She was a retired quality inspector for Mallory Timer Corp. and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 49 years and played the piano for worship service.
Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Howell Butler, Jr., a son Dr. Joseph L. Butler, and a brother Mr. Gene Paul Arnold.
She is survived by her daughter; Dr. Jan E. Butler of Bruceton, TN, one daughter-in-law; Mrs. Carol Butler, two grandchildren; James (Sara) Butler of Monroe, LA and Jennifer (Seth) Acuff of Birmingham, AL. Mrs. Lota Ann Clark Park, 87, of Bruceton, died Saturday, Feb. 14, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a retired employee of Camden General Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at Bruceton First Baptist Church with burial in Butler’s Cemetery. Terry Bradshaw and Shawn Allred officiated the services. Pallbearers were Clark Smothers, John Carter Park, James Park, Lucas Taylor, Dave Hohman and Garth Birdwell.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Cooper Park, on Feb. 12, 2005, and two sisters, Ava Smothers and Brooxie Clark. She was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Carroll County to the late Mr. Garvin Clark and Mrs. Lonie Brown Clark. She was a member of Bruceton First Baptist
Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Philip Park of Bruceton whom she married June 25, 1951. Other survivors include: one daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Taylor of Huntingdon; four grandchildren: Robyn Taylor (Dave) Hohman, Lucas Park (Lauren) Taylor, Jon Carter Park, James Philip (Sabrina) Park; three great-grandchildren: Taylor Ann Hohman, Jackson David Hohman and Griffin Lucas Taylor. PASCHAL B. WHITE 1929 - 1999 Paschal B. white, 69, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, March 23, at The Med in Memphis. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 26, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert White officiated. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Masonic rites were held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at the funeral home chapel.
Mr. White, the son of the late Acton Allen White and Nora Lee Jones White, was born October 24, 1929, in Buena Vista. He was a fanner, a member of Hollow Rock Methodist Church, a Korean War Veteran and Past Master of Hollow Rock Masonic Lodge #288. He is survived a sister, Mary Sue Boulton of Greenfield; and a brother, Haschal White of St. Louis, Missouri.
Pallbearers who served were Bobby John White, Gerald Patter son, W.D. King, Roger Turner, A.B. White and Steve White.

Mr. C. B. Williams 86, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday – Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McAuley Cemetery. Brother Roger Cooper will officiate the services.
Mr. Williams was born February 27, 1925, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Charley B. Williams and Flora Pinkston Williams. He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service, a farmer and a World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church were he served as a Sunday School Teacher. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Kelly, two sons, John Williams and Charley Ben Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Ina Bell Williams, four grandchildren, Kimberly Kelly, Emily Kelly, Evan Kelly and Rachel Williams.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 PM till 8 PM at Dilday – Carter Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 8 AM till time of services.
