Mr. C. B. Williams 86, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McAuley Cemetery. Brother Roger Cooper will officiate the services.
Mr. Williams was born February 27, 1925, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Charley B. Williams and Flora Pinkston Williams. He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service, a farmer and a World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church were he served as a Sunday School Teacher. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Kelly, two sons, John Williams and Charley Ben Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Ina Bell Williams, four grandchildren, Kimberly Kelly, Emily Kelly, Evan Kelly and Rachel Williams.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 PM till 8 PM at Dilday Carter Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 8 AM till time of services.
