BRUCETON: Wilmuth Butler Bridges, 76, died Monday, July 28, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 29, at 11 a.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Rev. James S. Daniel officiating. Burial followed in Spellings Cemetery in Buena Vista.
Mrs. Bridges was born August 28, 1931 in Buena Vista to the late Howell Green Butler, Sr. and Ora Dew Campbell Butler.
She was a seamstress for Publix Shirt and member of Bruceton First Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis E. Bridges.
Survivors include: two daughters, Karen Lane of Bruceton and Benita Lee of Buena Vista; one son, Michael Bond of Nashville; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. [Source: McKenzie Banner]
