Charles Virgil (C. V.) Cooper, Jr., 72, of Nashville, died Wednesday, November 12, at St. Thomas Hospital. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 14, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyma. Burial followed in Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna. Doug Westmoreland and Wayne Comwell officiated.
His nephews served as pallbearers. Mr. Cooper was a native of Carroll County and the son of the late Charles Virgil and Dainy Birdwell Cooper, Sr. He was a member of Tusculum Hills Baptist Church and a retired employee of Nashville Sash and Door. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Tune Cooper; and one sister, Frances Hargis of Nashville.
