Phillip Park
James Philip Park, 86, of Bruceton passed away at his residence Wednesday, October 3. Funeral services were held October 5 at Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Edwards and Bro. Josh Franks officiating. Burial followed at Butler Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Carter Park, James Philip Park, Lucas Taylor, Jackson Hohman, Patton Webb, Clark Smothers and Vince Taylor.
James was born June 25, 1932 in Hollow Rock to the late Howard Taft Park and Brooxie Nell Cooper Park. He was a retired Weight and Measure Specialist for the State of Tennessee and a member of Bruceton First Baptist
Church.
Preceding him in death is his son, John Cooper Park and a sister, Nancy Birdwell.
Mr. Park is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Taylor (Robert) of Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Robyn Taylor Hohman, Lucas Park Taylor (Lauren), John Carter Park and James Philip Park (Sabrina); five great-grandchildren, Taylor Hohman, Jackson Hohman, Griffin Taylor, Parker Taylor and Jessica Park [Source: Carroll County News-Leader]
