Mr. Lawrence Kenneth Edwards, 63, of Hollow Rock, died Monday, October 14, at Baptist Memorial A Hospital. Funeral services will be today, October 16, at 2 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Benton Co. Rev. Harold Carver and Rev. J. D. Featherston officiating.
Mr. Edwards, the son of the late Edgar James Edwards and the late Era Greer Edwards Howe, was bom March 9, 1933 in Benton Co. He was an Air Force Veteran and a retired shipping clerk from Norandal. He was married to Doretha Thomas Edwards of Hollow Rock.
Mr. Edwards had a daughter, Teresa Hollingsworth of Jackson, a sister, Peggy Higdon of Bruceton and three brothers, Aaron Edwards and Buddy Howe, both of Bruceton, and Billy Howe of Sherriville, Indiana. Pallbearers who served were: Jimmy Simpson, Joe Jordan Jr., Tim Higdon, Harry Higdon, Terry Thomas, and Warren Smith.
