Formally of Bruceton – Bobbye Jean Johnson, 84, a loving mother,grandmother, friend, and woman of faith passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Leslie Ernest Johnson, Jr. (Ret.) An Air Force spouse of twenty years and later floral designer, volunteered as dental assistant, nursing assistant, county library, MS telethons, presidential
voting locations, church choir/hand bells, and Little League Team mother; she was
a faithful member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Leslie E. Johnson III, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kemberly C. Johnson of Newport News, Va.; daughter–in-law Mary Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Rachel J. Johnson and Emily K. Johnson; and her sister Christine Wright of Bruceton.
The family will receive friends at 5PM on Wednesday, July 10 at Bruceton Funeral Home with a memorial service at the United Methodist Church to start at 10 am on July 11.
