July 15, 1936 - August 21, 2009

Mrs. Gayle Ann Smith, 73, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 21, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Brother Lloyd Ray Rich officiating. Interment followed in the McAuley Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born on July 15, 1936, in Buena Vista to the late William Noah Kee and May (Butler) Kee. She was a retired self-employed hair stylist, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntingdon. She was also a beloved Nana to all.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Smith of Huntingdon; a daughter, Kim (Keith) White of Huntingdon; four sons, Jeff Goble of Huntingdon, Tony Goble of Franklin, Mark Smith, and Brian (Jennifer) Smith, both of Milan; three sisters, Maxine Kortvely, Mattie Lou Fowler, both of Bruceton and Margurite Diel of Paducah, KY; three brothers, James Lance Kee of Lebanon, Kenneth Kee, and Larry Kee, all of McKenzie. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, Shea Smith, Konstance Moore, Jillian Goble, Kennedy White, Justin Goble, Nycole Goble, Amanda Goble, Hannah Goble, Dena Smith, Mya Smith, Macy Smith, and Blake Cantrell; and four great-grandchildren, Kelson Moore, Karter Moore, Aubrie Harris, and Shiloh Goble.
