Rosalyn Scott, 78, of Bedford, Ky., passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, at her residence. Ransdell
Funeral Home of Bedford was in charge of her cremation. Her final resting place will be with her husband at the Pisgah Cemetery between Hollow Rock and Vale.
Mrs. Scott was born March 9, 1936, in Hollow Rock, to the late R.N. “Rufus” Pinson and Bernice Presson Pinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Scott, Sr., and brothers, Ruben J. Pinson, and his wife, Mary, and Johnny Pinson.
She is survived by her sons, James G. Scott, Jr, and his companion, Shannon Caple, of Bedford,
and La Van L. Scott, of McKenzie; a sister, Jackie (Larry) McGowan, of Camden; a brother, Tony (Brenda) Pinson, of Bruceton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. [Source: Carroll County NEWS-Leader]
