Mr. Bobby Gene Parish 75, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Tim Parish, Bro. Levi Parish and Bro. Dan Winkler will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday at the Huntingdon Church of Christ from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Parish was born November 5, 1939 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Levi A. and Arnell (Belew) Parish. He was a retired medical technologist for Jackson Madison County General Hospital, a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ, a 32nd Degree Master Mason, a Scottish rite, and a shiner. He also served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Khokhar and a son. Andy Dean Parish.
He is survived by his wife of 53 ½ years Joan (Cary) Parish; one son, Tim Parish (wife Dana) of Lebanon ;one son-in-law, Wasim Khokhar of Memphis and one brother, Levi Parish (wife Sherry) of Newport. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Kaitlin Cole (husband Perry), Gray Parrish (wife Gabby), Claire Khokhar, Caroline Khokhar, Seth Khokhar, Sam Parish, and Laura Grace Parish, and one great grandson, Deacon Parish.
