Bobby Joe Geans
Bobby Joe Geans, 82 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert “Bubba” Geans and parents, Robert and Omegia Geans.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jean Roberts Geans, children; Keith Geans (Lori), Melissa Beacham (Mike), Tina Pipkin (Rusty), Pat Geans (Patricia), Mitch Roberts and Jeanne Hesson, grandchildren; Tabitha Seymour, Kori Geans, Jacqueline Slayton, Clint Beacham, Robyn Estrella, Christopher Pipkin, Kiowa Geans, Skylar Geans, Joshua Roberts, Joseph Hesson and Jonathan Hesson. Bobby is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, his half-sister Barbara Hailey and many extended family and friends.
Bobby was born on May 16, 1939 in Perry County, Tennessee. He was an over the road truck driver for 55 years and retired from YRC Trucking Company. Bobby loved gardening and planting flowers, building bird houses, feeding the squirrels in the yard, being in the outdoors and writing poetry. He was a kindhearted giving man who loved his family dearly.
A celebration of Bobby’s will be at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville on Thursday, July 8 at 2 PM. Family and friends will gather from 12 PM until the hour of the service. Bobby will be laid to rest following the service in Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Garden of the Cross.
The following will serve as Pallbearers; Kori Geans, Clint Beacham, Christopher Pipkin, Kiowa Geans, Mike Beacham and Jeremy Seymour.
