Mr. Charles Estes Kizer, 67 of Hollow Rock, passed away Friday, November 25, 2005 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Crossroads Cemetery in Benton County. Bro. James Daniels and Bro. Steve Davis officiated the service. Pallbearers who served were: L. M. "Tip" Lowe, Jimmy Simpson, Gene Lowe, Dan Young, Steve Parker, and John Parker.
Mr. Kizer was born June 16, 1938 in Henderson County to the late Joseph Woodrow Kizer and Marie (Finch) Kizer. He was a retired track repairman for the CSX Railroad Company, an Alderman for the town of Hollow Rock, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bruceton.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married December 22, 1972, Ruby (Cole) Kizer, three daughters, Melissa Hughes (Peter), of Camden, Cheryl Pickering (DeWayne), of Paducah, Ky., Kimberly Holland, two sisters, Betty Johnson (Bill) of Bruceton, Sue DiPova (Bob) of Alphartta, Ga., and one brother, Jim Kizer (Jan) of Union City. He also leaves four grandchildren.
