Sherrel Clark Smothers

Sherrell Clark Smothers, 48, died Wednesday Morning at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Born August 15, 1940 to Mr. Delmar Ross Smothers and the former Ms. Alma Odell Clark, he was employed by Dupont in New Johnsonville, TN. and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bruceton. Services were conducted Thursday, August 25, 1988, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Burial followed in Carroll County Memorial Gardens. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delois Smothers; two daughters, Ms. Shannon Smothers and Ms. Sherrie Smothers, both of Bruceton; his mother, Mrs. Alma Odell Smothers of Bruceton; one sister, Mrs. Clara King of Bruceton; one Brother, Mr. Lydell Smothers of Dallas Texas. Pallbearers were Mr. Steve Parker, Mr. John Fuller, Mr. Phillip Park and Mr. Buddy Smothers.
