William Harold Foster

William Harold (Bill) Foster, 59, of Hollow Rock, died Tuesday, October 3, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, October 5, at LeDon Chapel. Steve Davis and Steve Whitworth officiated. Burial followed in the New Hope Methodist Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Pallbearers who served were DAvid Johnson, Brian Johnson, Tim Sanders, Johnny Norwood, Jeremiah Cole, Jared Cole, Justen Byars and Jimmy Norwood. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of CSX Railroad. Ridgeway Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Foster, the son of the late Winnie Sue Crews and Otis Clark Foster, was born September 22, 1841, in Paris. He was a conductor for 31 years with CSX Railroad, a member fo the U.T.U. Local, a member or New Hope Methodist Church, treasurer for the New Hope Cemetery Trust and a church officer. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, William Robert Brown.
He married Reba Bain Foster on November 30, 1963, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Robert) Brown of Hollow Rock and Christy (Russ) Wimberley of Mansfield; a sister June Carol (Kenneth) Bullion of Camden; three grandchildren. Dylan Brown and Colten and Jesse Wimberley; and two nephews, David and Brian Johnson.
