Services for Howard Lee Hampton, 49, of Hollow Rock, were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Buena Vista. Rev. Tony Wiggins officiated.
Mr. Hampton was born on October 4, 1945 to Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lee Hampton, in Carroll County. He died on Saturday April 8, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was a packer at H.I.S., a Sunday school teacher and Deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church, member of the Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731 and he was a past Worshipful Master member of the OES ADA Chapter #314.
He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lee Hampton, of Hollow Rock, his grandmother, Mrs. Erma Smothers, of Bruceton, his wife, Joyce Ann Douglas Hampton, of Hollow Rock, a daughter, Erica Hampton, and one son Jonathan Hampton both of Hollow Rock. He is also survived by a sister Karen Lifsey, of Huntingdon.
